Approaching a Day at The Races

You should always do some homework before you attend the races. It will save you money. Try to determine how each race will set up and whether that will help or hurt the favourite. Also look for live longshots that might be able to take advantage of the race setup.

And once you get to the track, there are a few other pieces of information to gather. Maybe the track is favouring speed on the inside, or closers on the outside.

If you study the Daily Racing Form (PPs) and Official Equibase Programs the night before, you will know which horses can take advantage of the way the track is playing. This is a short video, but it has some great tips in it.
