Hurrionby. Turned back Maintenance Man.

The Pick-4 came close to paying $4,000 on Friday night at ASD but Maintenance Man ($24.10) just couldn’t get by favored female Hurrionby ($2.65) no matter what her name said.
Still, Maintenance Man received an excellent trip from jockey Paul Nolan, who continues to show why he’s been the leading rider at more than one track south of the border. And even though he didn’t win, the Pick-4 still paid $317.80.
Joanie Baloney was heavily bet before the first race and justified whoever was plunking down on her with a 5 ½-length victory under Tyrone Nelson, giving trainer Brent Hrymak his first victory of the year. Joanie ended up doubling the money of the faithful bettor who backed her, paying $4.10.
Trainer Roger Hansen won his seventh race of the meeting when jockey Tim Moccasin enticed Gear Shift ($2.85) to find another in deep stretch and nip a game Trojan for Life.
Kommando Kate ($1.05) helped Tyrone Nelson gain his second win on the card in the third race with one of many thrilling stretch drives on the evening, and in the process moved trainer Chad Torevell (11 wins) to within two of Blair Miller (13) in the trainer standings.
Longshot Prime Moment ($15.00) kicked off the Pick-4 with a 2 ¾-length victory in the fourth for trainer Shelley Brown and gave jockey Tim Moccasin his second winner on the night. Dudewithanattitude ($1.85) won the fifth race for trainer Ardell Sayler with an out-of-the-clouds rally after dropping well back early, and Fresh Ice ($2.25) did the exact opposite under jockey Jennifer Reid in the sixth race when he went-wire-to-wire for trainer Tom Gardipy Jr. and made one lady very happy at the end of the video below.

It was only fitting that one of the two fillies in the final race be ridden by a female. Jennifer Reid was aboard Hurrionby for her second win on the card and she certainly earned her money, winning an early duel with the other filly in the race Prairie Eclipse, and then winning the late battle with the Maintenance Man in the stretch.
There were only two fillies in the final race and they ended up dueling for the lead. Why would they do that? Well, they were beside each other in the gate.
Yeah, that’s where the argument started.
